home depot!
A few weeks ago I filled out one of those forms for a giftcard drawing at Home Depot ... and I got a call yesterday saying I am one of ten finalists! I really do seem to have good luck with drawings. As a finalist we won a free water inspection - some consultant is going to come out to our house tomorrow and test our water and tell us if we have terrible stuff in it. Probably we will and once we know we'll feel obligated to fix it ... and we'll spend our whole $5oo Home Depot gift cards on that.

It is great that you have brought your blog up to date - and it accepts comments, too!
ReplyDeleteYay! I love your new blog and it's great to see all the work you're doing. I read all the previous posts and everything looks wonderful. I can't wait till I can visit and see everything. Maybe you should use the dead grass patch as an opportunity to put in a garden area there instead of lawn! And that's great you won something from Home Depot, does finalist mean you get the $500 giftcard?
ReplyDeleteLove, Dad
I love Home Depot. I don't know why. And, I really love winning things..although that doesn't happen too often. Happy clean water drinking!
ReplyDeleteMe again....I'm all caught up on reading your blog. I've decided that you are in some sort of major "nesting" mode. And, we all know what comes after a "nesting" period.....
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, I can't help myself sometimes...I'm obnoxious!
Jacob wants to know why we can't have a bird room in our house. I'm not sure how to answer that question.
