No news ...

... is good news at this point. Still nothing to report really. Still a little light cramping here and there. Still waiting until its time to test. The blood test is scheduled for Tuesday, but I will do a home test this week-end. I haven't decided whether to try tomorrow or wait until Sunday.

So far so good ...

Its only been a couple of days, but so far all seems fine. I don't feel much of anything, of course. Since Thursday afternoon (about 24 hours after the FET), I've had light cramping, but no bleeding, so that seems like a positive sign. Now we just wait, impatiently and analyzing every possible symptom, though we know there is no way to know. We will try testing at home next week-end and I'll schedule a blood test with Dr. Teaff for a week from Tuesday.

Last few days in the Czech Republic

Here are a ton of pictures from our last two days of the trip. On Thursday, we had cake at a coffee shop for Miran's Aunt Mimica's birthday. And she gave me a cute white beret she had made as well as a felt flower pin.
We walked around Brno for a bit in the afternoon and took a lot of pictures.

That evening we went to Miran's cousin Jasmin's for dinner. Here is a picture of Miran and his cousins and of everyone.
We were planning to spend Friday night in Prague because our flight Saturday morning was early, and then we decided to go earlier in the day to Prague, leave our luggage in the central bus station, have lunch and walk around a bit before heading to the airport hotel.

photos from today

Here are a couple pictures from the procedure today, including a shot of the two embryos under the microscope and Miran's attempts to take pictures of both of us while I was on the table.

Two strong embryos!

I'll post again later with pictures, but for now, just a quick update that all went fine today. Both embryos survived the thaw and were as good a quality as the earlier ones. Both are already hatching, which means optimum for implantation. The transfer was quick, I rested at the clinic for about 20 minutes, and now I'm back at the hotel and Miran went out to watch a soccer game with Jasmin.
